Firstly my apologies for the delayed nature of this update. Many of you have reached out to ask about Lisa but with many moving parts the situation was in flux and I remained hopeful right up until last weekend
The sad news that Lisa has made the decision to stay on in Estonia is Bittersweet. While it is a significant loss to our team and to me personally , seeing her joy in reuniting with her family and the peace she has found leaves no room for anything other than understanding and happiness on her behalf.
Lisa is sure she is returning eventually Down Under but together with her partner has made the decision to remain with her family for 2023 at least. As family circumstances in Estonia evolved after her departure she is much saddened that she didn’t get opportunity to say goodbye, particular as so many of you became so much more than just customers but valued friends. These are some photos she wanted to share with all of you.
After a significant search we are pleased to welcome Apple to our team. With 9 years in-salon Lash Salon experience, Apple creates strictly hand made fans like us and is one of the fastest but still meticulous Lash Techs we have had. Her style is Volumous and comes highly recommended for those of you who want a full look and are happy for your tech to work at a high standard, but at speed. We took our time to find Apple as the intention was for her to work seamlessly alongside Lisa which definitely raised the bar. Having only joined us from the start of this year, her results so far see her frequently requested especially by those with a preference for a style like Yen, formerly of West Perth who worked at a similar pace. It simultaneously feels like Lisa has been gone forever while the 7 months since Priyanka joined us feels like no time at all! Pri came to us when she moved to Perth from Melbourne, fresh from her role with “Simply Brows and Lashes”, The Premier Lash Salon Group in the Eastern States. While her natural lash isolation, aptitude for artistic Lash Map design and skill has always been super high, transitioning back to hand made fans took several months to build up to speed. Priyanka’s progress has been phenomenal and we all agree when comparing phots of some earlier work of Lisa’s with Priyanka’s it is evident she has now surpassed this standard and continues to excel.
For North Perth clients who prefer a style closer to Lisa’s, ie a scrupulous attention to detail, a steadier working style and therefore typically longer appointment times – Priyanka is your recommended tech in North Perth (or Jessica in West Perth whom we are excited returns back from the USA tomorrow). Priyanka too is fast becoming the subject of more demand than she can accomodate so please book with plenty of notice. It has been interesting to see those of you whom have seen both girls in Lisa’s absence so far develop a firm favourite between the two and be consistently delighted with the results. Once again I’d like to express our gratitude to you as our long time loyal clients. Keeping you update has been at the front of my mind for several weeks now and Im anxiously optimistic you will continue to support us through this transition period.
